         1.1  Evenimentul   Un anumit simbol de trei ori

            Probabilitatea lui este data in urmatorul tabel, unde t este numarul stopurilor unei role, iar c este distributia acelui simbol pe o rola. Valorile lui t sunt listate in increment de 2, de la 20 la 200, iar valorile lui c de la 1 la 7.

             Nota: Notatia unui numar folosind litera E numita notatia stiintifica se foloseste in cazul numerelor foarte mici, avand un numar mare de zecimale. Pentru conversia din notatie stiintifica in notatia zecimala standard, trebuie sa deplasam virgula (punctul zecimal) spre stanga cu atatea pozitii cate ne indica numarul aflat dupa E-. Spre exemplu, 1.25E-07 se converteste la 0.000000125, care inseamna o probabilitate de 0.0000125%.

                   Exemple de folosire a tabelului:           

           1)  Gasiti probabilitatatea de aparitie a trei cirese pe linia de castig a unui aparat de sloturi cu 3 role, avand 82 stopuri si 4 cirese pe fiecare rola.

            Urmarim intersectia liniei t = 82 cu coloana c = 4 si gasim probabilitatea P = 0.00011607 = 0.011607%.

            2)  Gasiti probabilitatatea de aparitie a trei septari rosii pe o linie de castig a unui aparat de sloturi cu 3 role, avand 51 stopuri si 5 septari rosii pe fiecare rola.

            Observam ca 50 < 51 < 52.

            Urmarim intersectia liniei t = 50 cu coloana c = 5 si gasim prima probabilitate ca fiind 0.001.  Urmarim intersectia liniei t = 50 cu coloana c = 5 si gasim a doua probabilitate ca fiind 0.000889.

            Probabilitatea cautata este intre 0.000889 si 0.001. Putem alege de exemplu P = 0.00095 = 0.095% ca probabilitate aproximativa.
